Portland Fruit Tree Project is a grassroots non-profit gleaning organization dedicated to providing a community-based solution to access healthy food and the benefits of trees.

Want to get involved?

• Volunteer at a harvest party! Check out their calendar to find a time that works for you.
• Get help with your own fruit trees by utilizing their tree care services . They have lots of options so you can choose what's best for your situation.
• Swing by their fruit fridge in NE Portland to donate your excess harvest (after you post some on Freeya this weekend ;)) for distribution to partner organizations. H ere is some great information and resources to help guide you through harvesting your fruit.
• Mark your calendar for Thursday, 10/26 because the World's Largest CharFruitTree Board Fundraiser is coming to Portland—where and when else can you spend an evening grazing on a 500ft food board!? You can even commemorate your love of the harvest and giant charcuterie with a flash tattoo by @maddacide, @peggypantz, and @samislings! Go on and grab yourself a ticket here!
